The ultimate scapular retraction and strengthening to improve posture at work

At PT38 we like to think of the upper back as the foundation of the neck and skull. The shape and curvature of the spine immediately below the neck dictates the alignment of everything sitting on top of that point, and poor alignment, or forward head position, stresses the discs and joints. It may also lead to overworked muscles as they try to compete with the weight of the head falling forward leading to trigger points and pain.
