Patient’s sometimes come to Refresh Physical Therapy with pain that has been longstanding. They have often been to many other Manhattan physical therapists without getting better. It’s when they come here to our state-of-the-art physical therapy center and have our multidisciplinary approach that they start to improve.”  ~ Dominic Farnan

Manual Therapy

A hollistic hands on approach to healing. Joint mobilization, soft tissue work, contract-relax stretching, active-release-therapy (ART), Graston scraping technique, cupping and more.

Exercise Therapy

Get an individualized exercise program targeting your weak areas that we have identified on a comprehensive physical evaluation.

Trigger Point Therapy

Small painful areas of tightness and contraction within a muscle may be contributing to your pain. With trigger point therapy we precisely locate these small but disproportionately painful and troubling areas and release the tension.

A 5 Star Service

This was my second time seeing Dominic as we are planning a course of action to work on issues related to osteoarthritis in my knee. He has a kind and gentle manner and was extremely articulate in discussing the mechanics of my knee/leg/surround muscles, etc. -- even though I have had surgery and cortisone shots, no-one else has been able to explain my 'issues' to me in such a concise way. Physical therapy with Dominic is a one-on-one treatment, which is not something you get with all physical therapist practices -- something I appreciate and value.
